Been getting this lately on my Win2k Server: *** Event Type: Error Event Source: Disk Event Category: None Event ID: 7 Date: 12/9/2002 Time: 3:43:10 PM User: N/A Computer: MACHINENAME Description: The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block. Data:<snip> *** A short bit of research says this is because the drive is going. Attempting a chkdsk says 'cannot open volume for direct access'; would that be because I'm using Terminal Services to connect to it? Either way, the drive is/will be bad?
