How about keeping the servers in the same subnet/VLAN and separating the servers and the workstations into separate VLAN's. I've seen (financial) consultants come in with laptops that had same IP statically configured as one of the server's carelessly being plugged into clients' flat networks, resulting in IP conflicts and knocking those servers off.

There is no other devices on the the two except servers, I'm wondering if that is okay, or should I keep them all in one subnet? Thanks!
