I can't answer that, but from my experience probably a mess. I think corporate has a WINS server at each city that has a DC. I do know each WINS server is on a different subnet so I know there aren't two in the same building, but that's about the extent of what I know about their setup - other than I just killed off some dead entries because nobody else seems to look in the event logs.
And they're wondering why the conversion to AD has so many bugs. If they don't know more than me I wouldn't buy Textron stock anytime soon...
