Steve, what happens if you plug in the name of the printer in the box,
does it take it -- e.g., \\server\printername?

So if this is happening everywhere, the same thing should happen when
you go to network neighborhood, you shouldn't be able to browse that
either. Is all of this so on the server(s) as well as the workstations?

Do you get name resolution on the LAN - IP to NetBIOS name & vice versa?
If not, there's something desperately wrong in the basic networking
config.

David

David,

Thanks for your reply.

This is happening to ALL machines - not just one. The whole domain
cannot add printers through this way in the wizard.

WINS, DNS - the whole package is working fine. This is frustating as all
you know.
