David, Thanks again. When you type in the explicit UNC path, it works fine. On all machines. Same as if you type that into Start > Run. The servers are experiencing the same issue as the workstations. Mind you, a couple of our servers are not showing as listed in Network Neighbourhood, even though they are clearly running... Interesting...
I know it is not a master browser conflict, as I ran browstat from the ResKit and it has identified the (DC) server that is currently the MB. Any other ideas? themolk. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, 6 June 2003 8:37 AM > To: NT 2000 Discussions > Subject: RE: Add printer wizard "malfunction" > > > Steve, what happens if you plug in the name of the printer in > the box, does it take it -- e.g., \\server\printername? > > So if this is happening everywhere, the same thing should > happen when you go to network neighborhood, you shouldn't be > able to browse that either.
