Something got tweaked when you joined the domain. This is this just one
machine, not all of your workstations I presume?

Assuming we're just talking one box, I would take the box out of the
domain & put it in a different workgroup, then join the domain again.
Also, check the DNS, WINS, and gateway settings to make sure it truly
has connectivity to the domain. A couple of last resorts, at least for
testing, set up a HOSTS file to point to your DCs, and see if it makes
any difference if NetBIOS is enabled on the WINS tab of your IP
properties.

Subject: Add printer wizard "malfunction"

Any help greatly appreciated - even a pointer in the right direction.

We have a Win2K domain, servicing Win98/NT/2K/XP clients.

Today I noticed when you go through the add printer wizard, you get to
the selection of how you want to find the printer you are after (In XP,
the option is to "connect to this printer (or to browse for a printer,
click next)".

When we click next, it DOES NOT show the domain that all the machines
are connected to - only shows a WORKGROUP (with no clients) that I can't
track down even exists. All clients are members of the domain. Master
browser is associated with one of our two DC's, and all seems to be
functioning OK. Lil' help? I apologise in advance if I have not given
enough info for assistance...
