Dear Sir,

There is not only one FreeBSD ntop in the universe.

Recent versions of ntop (> 2.1) build cleanly on FreeBSD 4.5 and greater
RELEASEs (up to 4.6.2-RELEASE-p2).

The only necessary thing to do is follow the advice in
docs/BUILD-NTOP.txt.

I can't comment on the FreeBSD port other than to say that it has
consistently failed to stay up with (since about ntop 1.3) with stable
ntops.

That said, I have not the skill to port ntop to FreeBSD.

Yours sincerely.

'...No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the
continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a
manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes
me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know
for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...'
