Morning List,
I have been using ntop since 1.1 and actually have that version still running on a box that was forgotten on the network, it was fired up and ntop was started and voila, stats coming in.
My question is: Since we have never cared about archiving/reporting of packet statistics on one of our legacy networks, and now want to, what is the preferred method in a non cisco LAN? The stats are needed as justification to the bean counters to upgrade the LAN to Cisco, and they like pretty pictures.
Also as a side note, if anyone is working on there CCIE R&S or Security, email me off of list about access to my rack.
Thank you for your help.
kevin
