no, i'm not using -K ... I'm just running it like:

/usr/bin/ntop -m 10.0.0.0/8 -P /var/lib/ntop -i eth0 -u wwwrun -w
10.0.0.10:3000

(network numbers changed to protect the guilty)

I'm using the sFlow plugin though, so i'm getting quite a large
quantity of sFlow data inputting into this thing from my two Foundry
FastIron 400 routing switches... 

but, like i said, same setup works fine on 2.1.3 or 2.1.56.
