#1 - Upgrade. The current cvs is 2.2.99. MORAL: If you're going to track
the cvs, then track it and keep current.

Do I think there are any fixes for your problems? No. But I've got zero
interest in even thinking about a 2 month old cvs version...

#2 - Did you READ HowTo ask for help???

If you give us information, we'll try and help us. If you think you're
smart enough not to give the information we ask for, well, then you're smart
enough to fix your own problem...

The stuff we ask for is based on long experience answering questions - it's
the stuff we normally need. Yeah, it's a lot of data. And while it may be
too much, but it's rarely too little unless you're really into squirrelly
problems.

If you had provided the information, I wouldn't be asking the usual
questions:

ARE THERE ANY LOG MESSAGES? WHAT DO THEY SAY???

ARE THERE ANY CONSOLE MESSAGES WHEN YOU RUN??? WHAT TO THEY SAY???

HOW DID YOU CONFIGURE AND BUILD NTOP? Did you run make && make
install -- OR ARE YOU TRYING TO RUN FROM THE BUILD DIRECTORY? (There's a
docs/FAQ entry on JUST THAT TOPIC - look for the one "What is the function
of the 'ntop' script in the build directory")

98% of the help we can offer is already in docs/FAQ - I've built that file
based on 2 years of answering the same questions, time and time and time
again. It's all in there... but it can be hard to find if you don't already
know ntop.

As for init scripts, there are a couple of versions of init scripts floating
around. The one I use and support is in the packages/RedHat/ntop.init file
(or something quite similar to that name). The others all work fine too.
