I'd be behind one firewall and they would be behind a different one. It would
be to connect to laptops not servers. I need to be able to work with their
login session so they can see what I'm doing and so I would be working with
their profile.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Which side of the firewall are you from them, what OS's are you working with,
and do you need to connect to their session or can you kill theirs and use
yours? If you don't need to use theirs and are on the same side of the
firewall what about Remote Desktop. Otherwise if you need to use their session
one of the older/newer VNC's might work.

I've been using LogMeIn to remotely assist users. However the free license now
supports a limited number of computers. Can you suggest a tool similar to
logmenin to remote control computers? The system must be able to connect to
systems behind a firewall on a remote LAN. Free or cheap (but good) is
preferable. Thanks for your help.
