Leap Motions site seems to give the impression they worship only at the Church
of Apple but the device is demo'd on a variety of platforms including Windows 8.

I am considering picking one up. It's not that I have found the need for it
with my non-touch dual monitor setup but that I think it would be 'neat' and am
trying to self justify the $90 for fun :)

Oh, I'm not afraid...just lazy. Besides if that were the 'true path to power'
we'd still be on DOS.

LeapPad looked to be Mac only, and I'm not a big fan. EULA's and all that...

I'm intensely interested in the leapmotion not just for my own

purposes, but also for a friend of mine - a former teacher who has

rheumatoid arthritis, and most any keyboarding and mousing causes her

great pain. If the leapmotion can replicate keyboard functionality

without the need to actually touch the keyboard, it will be a huge win

for her.

It also means that tablets become much more usable.

Fear not the command line - it is the true path to power. :)
