But it is executing something.

Mounts an iso then calls an app on the pc to open the iso and view the
statement is a third party app.

Makes things faster than running the app over the network share.

 

Works on everybody else.

I'll just use chrome for now.

Still researching but have bigger fires than myself to put out today.

  Batch files are widely regarded as "dangerous" and will be blocked by
all sorts of things.

  When distributing batch files or other scripts as bare files (not in a
ZIP or whatever), I recommended renaming them by appending a text file
extension, e.g., "foo.bat.txt".

  Aside from avoided unwanted blocking, it also prevents unexpected
execution, allows them to be viewed without downloading in a browser,
and may clue in the computer to perform end-of-line translation.
