It's a dumb one but it works. HTML calls the bat that call the exe that displays the iso image of a members statement a third party adobe display.
A lot of pain and suffering went into this and no real solution for getting away from it now. And .bat is in the mime types on the server. Just my person IE that is screwy. Everybody else is moving fine. That would be my first question. what is the business need for this? If you really have to do this which I wouldn't recommend.....You need to add *.bat to the list of MIME types Christopher Bodnar Enterprise Architect I, Corporate Office of Technology:Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Services Tel 610-807-6459 3900 Burgess Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017 [email protected] <mailto:> The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America www.guardianlife.com <http://www.guardianlife.com/> From: "David McSpadden" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Date: 11/07/2013 08:11 AM Subject: [NTSysADM] accessing . b a t files from an internal IIS site Sent by: [email protected] ________________________________ I can access some . b a t files from chrome but IE9 is turning them into _bat files in which they loose their file association and will not open??
