This isn’t an area of expertise for me, but I have two clients using Van Dyke
Software’s VServe for Windows. It works well for them. I steered them in that
direction, because I have nothing but good things to say about that company’s
SecureCRT.

We’re running Cygwin on another Windows server, it seemed to be a bear to set
up and also acts flaky at times.
For instance it seems that if one little thing can make the ssh service stop
running, even something as simple as a client server reboot.
I’m hoping for a simpler and more stable solution.

Okay, if no one is using freeSSHd, what is everybody using for SSH on their
Windows servers?

Anyone using freeSSHd? The only problems I've seen with it involved 1.2.6.
The latest version I've found is 1.2.7 and can't find any vulnerabilities or
issues with it.
