Unknown how it got corrupted
The SW running on system cannot be reinstalled as the source installation
software no longer exists, and the vendor is 4 versions ahead and
the user requires this version in order to do his job, so I have to make
this pc work
The pc does not have a backup image and restore points are corrupt

I need to find a way to reinstall MS networking, and I am beginning to
think there is no viable fix
