Have you tried to remove all networking and re-installing it? What did you
scan the system with? I usually scan with two different products from
different companies to look for malware of any kind but without networking that
would be next to impossible.

Unknown how it got corrupted

The SW running on system cannot be reinstalled as the source installation
software no longer exists, and the vendor is 4 versions ahead and

the user requires this version in order to do his job, so I have to make this
pc work

The pc does not have a backup image and restore points are corrupt

I need to find a way to reinstall MS networking, and I am beginning to think
there is no viable fix

Nuke and repave is not an option?

So how did this computer get into this condition? Either malware or disk
corruption? Either one would make me either restore from a backup or rebuild.

A couple of years ago I saw something similar, though I can't
remember if it was exactly the same thing. It had to do with the
Network <something> service not being started. I think it was the
Network Connections service. Are all the services whose names
start with Network running on the offending machine?

            Just guessing here--you might try:

            Cmd as administrator

            Sfc /scannow

And see if it will repair anything in the OS?

You may be faced with attempting a repair installation. I
haven’t had to face anything like this since Server 2000
and 2003 R2, but never had much luck (we used to have an
AV product that would break the stack sometimes upon
            uninstall).

            Hi

I have a Win 7 Pro pc that can no longer access the network

It appears that the MS networking components have become
            corrupted

            I am getting errors 26, 7001, 7000, 10005

            26

I am getting multiple afd.sys failed to load error
            messages every second

            7001

The SSCP Discovery service depends on the Http service
which failed to start because of the following error: The
device does not recognize the command

            7000

the Http service which failed to start because of the
following error: The device does not recognize the command

            10005

DCOM got erro 1068 attempting to start the service fdPHost
with the arguments "" in order to run the server

Workstation Service will not start Error 1068: The
dependency service or group failed to start

            Computer Browser service Error 1068

I have tried multiple restore points, but they fail to
            complete successfully

I have tried uninstalling the NIC drivers which does not
            fix the MS services

Has anyone seen this issue before and know how to repair
            the MS Networking?

            Regards
            B
