A .PST that Outlook suddenly refuses to open is the most common issue
I've seen. If you're lucky, SCANPST.EXE will fix it.

Can you elaborate?  I hate to fall victim to the "nothing has happened
yet, so it must be okay" mindset... but... see preceding clause. :-)

Note that I restrict networked PST use to Outlook archiving.  For
everything else, Exchange.  (IMHO, Outlook and Exchange go hand in hand;
there is little point in running one without the other.  IMHO, of
course.)
