I used to use QEdit back in the day, but I haven't been able to find them around anymore. Once I started using Textpad, I forever gave up "DOS" editing.
While the command line may be the most powerful and flexible place to *execute* code/scripts/commands, it's not the best place to initiate or edit them, IMO.
