I'm not real clear on what you're doing. New SAN replaces old, but what else? Did the new disk resources come online? Did they have the same drive letters as the ones they replaced?
Note, I know that clustering has changed a lot since Server 2003, which is the last OS I've had much cluster experience with. So forgive me if the above makes no sense within the context of 2008R2 clustering. Also, what about the event logs. I would think that SQL would be screaming a lot of information if the service can't start.
