I'm using UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.2 (version that was available at the time) for remote access to my win7 virtual desktops. There are a few little things that annoy me but it works. I combine that with Bginfo on the desktop for the user to tell me their computer name. 99% of my remote needs require mirroring the desktop to help the user through their issues.
