If there weren't mounds of mandatory DRM, maybe they could have implemented
a mode where you could go with XP drivers in order to use your hardware, and
perhaps then lock out DRM'ed content from playing if that were the case.
Then at least hardware would work.  Protected Media Path baloney, protecting
you from doing what you want with your own PC.  Bah-humbug.
