Our policy is that if the user wants a non standard system, he is on his own for support. We give him the tools like VPN clients, and access information but beyond that, it is his/her problem. Our management backs that approach, they don't want us spinning our wheels and the user loosing productivity by not using a company standard system. Yeah, it took some convincing at first but when an Exec. VP wasted a day trying to get his MAC to do something a WINPC already could do, it was a no brainer.
