Not the first time management has opted for reduced protection. I know I had to give up most of my support contracts over the last couple of years. All you can do is put it in writing what they are giving up and the consequences of the action and let them make the call. At the moment the only support contract I still have is for AV and that took a lot of talking to keep it. The Executive Director wants a new Mac laptop and is taking all the support money to pay for it.
