Hi chaps, I'm looking at porting some of our VMWare VMs to HyperV instead. We have a new server running 2008 Standard. The MS licensing page for HyperV says that I can run one VM server on the Standard edition and that additional licenses are required for each VM.
Does that mean an additional 2008 Standard license is needed for each VM or do they sell a separate VM license for additional VMs in 2008 Standard ?
