I worked for a government agency that for legal reasons got booted off the Internet. Had to get one of those to get accurate time information on our network. I used a NTS-150's with window and roof mounted GPS antennas from Symmetricom: http://www.symmetricom.com/resources/glossary/network-timing-faq/?lid=3489 but a quick google search of GPS NTP appliance shows that there are now lots to choose from. Learning about stratum sources and latency is fun when dealing with time... Also I prefer units with external (and grounded) antenna's - esp. if roof mounted. Yes, lightning can strike the same place more then once - that's all I'm going to say about that :) Eric Eskam =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The contents of this message are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the U.S. Government "The human mind treats a new idea the same way the body treats a strange protein; it rejects it." - P.
