I'm not sure if you can prevent him from changing it, but iirc, you can have it 
already in the logon field by adding it to the winlogon key in the registry. 
Try adding his logon to defaultusername. Then all he'd have to do is enter the 
password.

Use the welcome screen, and remove the all other profiles? Only works if he 
never figures out how to bypass. Maybe MS’ steadystate?

Hi all!

I would like to prevent one of my users from changing his assigned Windows 
login name. All I want him to do is enter the password only in order to log on 
to our domain. Is this possible? The OS is Windows XP Pro and we have an 
Windows 2003 Active Directory domain.
