We have this application that the entire house uses that has switched to a MSSQL backend. No one is directly connecting to the SQL box but their app talks to one server that is making the connections for it. Our lovely Softchoice person is saying that we need sql cals for everyone (1700+) that use this app. I'm thinking the only connection being made is from the server the app is talking to and the sql server. Thus 1 connection? Right? Wrong?
