I try to avoid fake RAID, but FWIW, we recently got a Precision T3400 using Intel's onboard fake RAID. When RAID is enabled, the RAID BIOS has an information display after main BIOS during POST. Press [CTRL]+[I] to get into that. It's outside the main BIOS setup.
