Just have to put in my 2 cents worth. We use AT&T and can get from 0-4 bars
at any point in time at our home - same location, fully charged phone, seems
to be dependent of time of day. Silly me, I called to ask tech support what
was up and they said "oh you must live in a hole". I said "no, not the very
highest point, but certainly on top of a hill which is one of the highest
points in town". They said, "oh we're sure sorry, but you must live in a
hole". All in all, a very effective strategy to get me conditioned to avoid
calling tech support again. Guess what service I'll be leaving as soon as
the contract ends..
