When I first joined GS, we had AVG and it was a good product but it did not catch all the items (year one) and then we moved to Symantec Enterprise 10.X, which was a complete system resource hog, taking real time services and dropping their level of priority and then locking up our CRM App was not acceptable (year two). Well it's now year three and I followed the threads spoke with several colleagues and we made the move to Vipre Enterprise. To this date, I'm impressed with the results; the GUI is very easy to use.
Now with that said, we have the deep scans set for the weekends, and those that have responded on the deep scans, yes it does bring down the system, but not to a screeching halt, some degradation YES, but I wouldn't say a screeching halt. Well that's my 2.5 cents.
