You can always use the VC client downloaded directly from any ESX host to manage that host directly at Zero cost, it's always been like that.
You do need to register ESXi to continue using it. The part that costs is managing more than one server together which then turns into Vcenter, but you could have 10 ESXi servers and manage each one of them individually all for free. -----Original Message----- From: Steven M.
