They *never* show cords in marketing pictures. These days, I expect they edit them out digitally. They used to actually cut the cords off for the photos. Not just barcode scanners. They do the same with power drills, kitchen appliances, computers, you name it. Heck, based on the pictures, *all* barcode scanners are cordless. ;-) > But yeah, untethered is the cool thing.
