One thing I also did before touching someone's system was to make a complete 
backup and verify the backup FIRST!  This was built into the hourly cost.

Like David just said, I only do home systems if I can do it at MY HOUSE, on MY 
TIME!  I have many more resources at my house than I could bring with me to 
someone elses.

Do you ever worry about someone suing you over the loss of their precious
data? I used to work for Fast Teks, but the local franchise went out of
business within a year of start-up. They had a form that they required
customers to sign before we were allowed to work on their computers, which
is what got me to thinking about it.
