I usually use PartImage on SysRescueCD when I make whole disk images. I script ROBOCOPY to a flash drive or USB-attach hard disk for backups for the end user. If I need Windows-based disk imaging, I use Acronis True Image Echo Backup and Recovery Workstation Professional or whatever it's called this year.
