That's true Matthew, I'd forgotten Cisco... I've spent so many years in
organizations that couldn't afford Cisco stuff, so we went with HP and
other vendors for switches, routers, etc. Stuff that stacked up very
well against the Cisco stuff, for lots less.

Without saying Cisco, they mean Cisco.

There are shops which are "100% Cisco". I'm not saying that's a bad
thing, Cisco makes good hardware. But where people feel like they have
to purchase Cisco because there are no other companies that cover all
their needs, HP is looking to be an alternative. And good on them,
competition is always good.

Have a Cisco Firewall? Switches? IP Phone System? Wireless? If you said
yes to all of these, there is now a competing product from HP. Cisco
just recently got into Servers, and I've already heard a few people
swear by them. In that case, Cisco is entering HP's territory. This is
all good news.

So, where will HP go next? Maybe they'll buy Axis and enter the
security camera market. Cisco's there, so HP will follow, right? Sm:)e.
