1) yup - I agree, and looks like that is what will happen

2) So that I know what the password is if I have to work on it (at a
time that I don't have access to BES server to change it)
If I apply a difficult password and were able to set it so they can't
change it, they are stuck using (and learning it).
Additionally, they won't be able to use passwords like "blackberry"
"dog" "cat" etc...

1) I'd let them suffer the consequences of their mistakes - they'll
learn eventually.

2) Interesting - why?

1) Stop users from changing their passwords (because many forget what
they changed it to).

2) Standardizing on a single password for all BB devices

Just curious, but what's the business problem you're trying to solve
here?

Thanks,

Subject: Question for BES admins

Right now I have an IT Policy on my BES 4.1.6 that forces a password on
all handhelds, and sets the timeout for 1 hour.
I would also like to disable users from being able to change the
password that I've assigned to their BB device.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks!
