Subject: 24in monitor

End of the year is coming up and it's time to spend some money for my
biz. I currently have a Samsung 20in (not widescreen) 203B LCD monitor
which I LOVE and a lower-end Dell 19in LCD display which I will replace.

How much should I care about max resolution of 1920x1080 vs. 1920x
1200? It will be primarily used for computer work and the occasional
game (nothing cutting edge though) and I run my 20in monitor at
1600x1200. I'm thinking I would miss the additional pixels going down to
1080 on the vertical side.

Been a while since I've shopped monitors, what should I look for? I'm
guessing this will be big enough that I might watch occasional hi-def
stuff although I don't currently do that (no other HD screens exist in
my house yet). From my little searching the Samsung T240HD looks like a
winner...
