We already have the Ops Manager console on another 24" on the wall, which could possibly do with upgrading to something bigger. If we could get it integrated with ESX and our SAN, then we could maybe reduce the need for so many consoles (and I wouldn't be able to get away with a business case for all those screens!)
Tell the truth I've never played any games on that setup. However, we do play games occasionally on the huge projector screen that we also have in the IT office, which look pretty darned good (we had AVP running on there last Xmas). The projector will also come in very handy for watching World Cup games on next summer :-) 2009/11/25 <[email protected]> > Thank you Sir. > > Wonderful workspace, even if changing from 6 to 8 means you are not fully > satisfied or at least you see how to use dynamically that extra space. > If I ever had such big need, I think that I would move the fixed > information pages (well, all that info that is constantly up without any or > at least with only small interaction needed) to a webserver showing this > info on a 40-50" wall tv monitor in front of ny desk, keeping a more > conservative setup of 1 to 3 monitors on the desk. > > Oh, you did not answer to my last question ... > > Best, > Dr. Roberto Grippi > > > 2009/11/25 James Rankin <[email protected]> > >> Apologies to those who have seen it before (I believe I posted this pic a >> few months back when the 24" monitor discussion was first going on), but I'm >> always willing to show off my setup :-) >> >> >> I have three video cards, but I got one of my desktop guys to set it up >> and didn't ask too many questions about it, so I literally have no idea how >> he fudged it together.
