Outlook 2000? I don't recall the exact menu sequence for that version but check and see what add-ins she has installed.

For some strange reason, the ONLY way I can get it to start and open up is to start it in safe mode, i.e. "outlook.exe /safe". That's not an ideal situation, obviously.
