Unless this is a newer computer running an older version of Office, it's prolly more cost-effective to just buy a new computer with Office bundled. (I'm assuming, if she is still running Office 2000, staying on the latest-and-greatest is not a priority, so the computer is old, too. Lots of places hold on to stuff forever.
