This is the dilemma really, whether to mess around with a dedicated drive per lun, one drive with all the luns pointing to it, or just use the free space on the LUNs.

We would get a lot of events indicating all snapshots were deleted due to heavy i/o, or something like that. For our heavily accessed data volumes, I now use a separate drive (slower SATA storage works well for this on our SAN) and haven't seen one of these errors in the several years since changing it.
