Anyways, I think that there is still performance issues with the viewer that
needs to be ironed out. I believe there are some improvements coming in Nuke
6.3 but I'm not sure, might be wrong there?
Also SSD drives aren't too bad for performance and they are pretty cheap
now. Good location for your disk cache.
But if you want to precise playback I'd go outside Nuke.
