Ive heard from a very reliable source, that the bosses at the top in apples creative division of the pro apps knew damn well , all this outcry would happen with the new release of FCP Pro X. Even the internal staff felt disenchanted about the shift in direction from Pro to consumer...
They have no future intention of developing pro apps anymore , as the market is just too small compared to the consumer, a la Shake. They were initially going to release the new product without the 'PRO' tag but at the last minute changed their minds. If a new major Update were to be released it would take upto a year and half minimum. Maybe they will change their minds after all this unrest, im sure the features such as multi camera, red support etc. but i see little else new being pushed.
