Good post from you on the apple forums. Fcp 7 didnt really need much updating. anyway imo.. its only editting , splice, reorganising clips.respeeding. There nothing amazing technically groundbreaking or difficult. All that was needed was 64 bit architecture, plus the useful background rendering..
