Honestly, it doesn't seem terrible.  Try a little denoise first, pull a nice
soft keylight key, fill in the middle bit with a hard fill matte.  The
highlights are definitely bloomed (and possibly clipped) but you might be
able to get a nice matte by keymixing in a lumakey.  You could throw the
image into YCbCr colorspace to see if the chroma channels seem downsampled
any and apply the trick Randy mentioned.  The only time I've ever seen a key
pull with one click was when a constant was piped in...  Good luck.
