Hey Remco,

I think you should track the object you want to keep in focus.
Then use the tracker's absolute coordinates to get the corresponding
Z-value in the depth pass. Use this as an expression in the Focus
value in the Zdepth node...

Is that what you want?

or hire a digital-focuspuller ;)
