[nupic-dev] and [nupic] (or [nupic-htm]) split seems fine to me. Although I'd suggest more thinking about the topics for each split part.
-dev = code related stuff, bugs, algorithmic PR discussions, newbie questions, installations -htm = theoretical stuff, interesting AI posts, users' project built on nupic, use-cases, higher-level future dev of Nupic With the current split I wouldnt be sure where to post the new "Emotion encoder" idea I have on table, where I'd like to hear suggestions both on how to implement it, as well as discuss usefulness, "AI correctness" etc. This brings me to idea of nupic-news list, where : talks and new features to nupic were to be announced. So if you're user who does not want to be bothered with all-around discussions, but needs to stay on track with what can be done is informed. PS: other solution would be to change subscription to Daily (or half-day) digests. On Sat, Nov 16, 2013 at 6:32 PM, Fergal Byrne <[email protected]>wrote: > +1 on the [nupic-hackers]!
