+1 on the idea of splitting the list. That specific way of splitting it isn't intuitive to me though... [nupic-dev] would get the software development talk, which seems to me a sort of middle level between the neuroscience theory and the application, while [nupic-users] gets both the highest level talk (theory) and the lowest level talk (installation and use). My own interest, for example, is in the theory and the software development talk, but not in the build and use details. If there aren't many people with that set of interests, I can see how it makes sense to split it this way. Otherwise, maybe 3 lists would work better? For theory, development, and use?
