Hi all,

I have some notes on getting Nut working with Vmware (ESX3.5 in my
case), including the necessary settings in the esx to give nut
permissions to shutdown the virtual machines.

My live setup includes two monitored UPS's, two ESX servers and a
scheduled shutdown script to stop vm's.

Would there be any interest in a rpm of this or these notes to post on
the web site?

We've tended to let the distribution managers handle the RPMs, but if you have a spec file you want to post to the list, and it isn't too big, that would be fine (as far as I am concerned).

Notes are also good - they will probably reach a wider audience on the nut-upsusers list, but here works as well.

For both attachments, please gzip them if it looks like they will be more than a few KB.

Thanks!
